Wood recycling is important as after treatment recycled wood can provide a range of uses. Cawleys recycling service collects wood waste from sites and distributes it to timber mills to be recycled. Good quality, undamaged wooden pallets can be collected separately for reuse which is at the top of the waste hierarchy.

Recycled wood can also be used in the manufacturing of new furniture, while wood chippings can be used for equestrian bedding or can be recycled to be used as a source of fuel. Wood can also be added to compost recycling to produce natural fertilisers.
